NOTICE is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Directors of Genesee Fire Protection District for the ensuing year of 2024; that a copy of such proposed budget has been filed in the office of the District at 23455 Currant Drive, Golden, Colorado, where the same is open for public inspection; and that such proposed budget will be considered at a public hearing of the Board of Directors of the District to be held at 23455 Currant Drive, Golden, Colorado on November, 15, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. Any elector within the District may, at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget, inspect the budget and file or register any objections thereto.
NOTICE IS FURTHER given that the Board shall consider a budget that, pursuant to Section 29-1-306, C.R.S., may exceed the Property Tax Limit as defined in such Section. The proposed mill levy to be considered is 10.121 mills
This meeting is open to the public. Any oral testimony from any elector within the District will be considered at the public hearing.
